The Sutherland Sailors defeated Hershey Thursday in a see-saw, five set battle.

Sutherland won the first set, 25-21, but Hershey came back to take the next two, 25-21, 25-21.

Sutherland rallied to get the fourth set, 25-22, and then won the fifth and deciding set, 15-10.

Sutherland's Sam Kennedy had a big night, socking away 25 kills and coming up with 19 digs on defense.

Teammates Joli Hopping had 28 assists and, with Jalyne Schuster, 14 digs; Allison VanSklver had 13 digs and Kristen Nelson had 12 against strong Hershey hitters.
