NPCC Lady Knights softball team ready to rake Tell North Platte what you think

The North Platte Community College Lady Knights softball team will rake yards in coming weeks to help residents of the area.

The project was designed as a fundraiser. There is no set fee for yard raking, donations to the Lady Knights softball team are encouraged and appreciated.

Residents who wish to have their yards raked should call NPCC Lady Knights softball coach Janelle Higgins at (515) 419-5801 after 3 p.m. on weekdays or anytime on weekends; or by email at higginsj@mpcc.edu.

Raking leaves is just one of several projects the Lady Knights have planned to raise money for the team. Another upcoming fundraiser will be “Spirit Hunting in a Ghost Town” at the Lincoln County Historical Museum the week of Halloween.
