HERSHEY-Hershey dominated Cozad in a 25-12, 25-8, 25-12 sweep Tuesday night on its home court. "We put together another pretty solid and focused effort," said Hershey coach Amy Beyer. "The intensity and consistency has improved the last two games. We need to build on that going into Thursday (against Sutherland)." Brooke Munsen led the Lady Panthers (9-5) with 15 kills in the win. Maegan Hiatt and Daynlee Miller also had nine kills each. Jenna Young had 25 set assists and Bobbi Brannan followed with six assists. Brooke Frederick and Hiatt each had nine points in service and Brannan also had seven. After taking care of Cozad (3-13), Hershey will host Sutherland (12-5) on Oct. 4 before playing undefeated North Platte St. Pat's and Maxwell (6-12) in a triangular. The next three matches should be a good barometer for the Panthers going into next weekend's South Platte Valley Association tournament with St. Pat's, Sutherland and Maxwell all being conference rivals.
