Maxwell grad nominated for college homecoming honorTell North Platte what you think
 

Brian Smith of Maxwell has been nominated for the 2012 Fort Hays State University's Homecoming court.

Smith is a freshman at Ft. Hays State. Homecoming weekend is Oct. 4-7.

Smith, an organizational leadership major, was nominated by Circle K International. He is a graduate of Maxwell High School.

The king and queen will be announced at halftime of the FHSU Tiger Homecoming football game Saturday, Oct. 6, against Lindenwood University.

Each FHSU student organization was encouraged to nominate a candidate for Homecoming king or queen. Candidates must be full-time FHSU students and have a minimum GPA of 2.5.

The candidates was announced by the university's Center for Student involvement.
