Kimball to host remote control air showTell North Platte what you think

The Kimball Kamakazee Klub Remote Control Airshow will be Sunday, Sept. 30 at the Kimball Nebraska Airport at the Remote Control field.

The field is three miles south and a half mile west of Kimballís only stoplight, orgnanizers say.

Event coordinator Rick Kirby said the event will feature planes and pilots from the tri-state area -- Colorado, Nebraska and Wyoming.

All remote control pilots are invited to participate. There are no entry fees, no prizes, just a day to fly. Planes will be in-flight and on display for spectators. The event is open to the public, not charge.

Everyone is welcome, but there is limited on-site seating. Bring a lawn chair. Pilots check in 8 a.m. Planes are in the air at 10 a.m.

If you are a pilot, a spectator, or for more information, call Rick Kirby at 308-235-3338, or 308-235-5801 email: rdkirby@actcom.net
