The Kimball Kamakazee Klub Remote Control Airshow will be Sunday, Sept. 30 at the Kimball Nebraska Airport at the Remote Control field. The field is three miles south and a half mile west of Kimball’s only stoplight, orgnanizers say. Event coordinator Rick Kirby said the event will feature planes and pilots from the tri-state area -- Colorado, Nebraska and Wyoming. All remote control pilots are invited to participate. There are no entry fees, no prizes, just a day to fly. Planes will be in-flight and on display for spectators. The event is open to the public, not charge. Everyone is welcome, but there is limited on-site seating. Bring a lawn chair. Pilots check in 8 a.m. Planes are in the air at 10 a.m. If you are a pilot, a spectator, or for more information, call Rick Kirby at 308-235-3338, or 308-235-5801 email: rdkirby@actcom.net
