Help wanted for haunted corn mazeTell North Platte what you think

A planning meeting will be held Wednesday for anyone interested in helping with the haunted corn maze at the Golden Spike during Halloween.

The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the Patty Birch Room of the downtown Neville Center, the home of the North Platte Community Playhouse. The playhouse is teaming with the North Platte Jaycees and the Golden Spike to host the Haunted Corn Maze. The dates are Oct. 25-28.

The playhouse is looking for volunteers to help form the haunting scenes.

"We need to make this an amazing event to help raise money for these three great organizations," Playhouse Manager Scott Carlson said.

If interested in helping, call (308) 532-8559 or attend the planning meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 5:30 p.m. in the Patty Birge Room or email northplattecommunityplayhouse@gmail.com.
