A Friday traffic stop for speeding on a county road near Shelton in Buffalo County led to the seizure of 65 pounds of marijuana and the arrest of two California men. Around 5:30 p.m., Friday, a state trooper stopped a 2012 white Mazda for speeding. The car was eastbound on County Road 24, near Shelton Road. The trooper smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver, David Nguyen, 31, of Oakland, Calif., and a passenger Jacob Seneca Cordova, 32, of Oakland, Calif., were both lodged in the Buffalo County Detention Center, each on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
