The Mid-Plains United Way 2012-2013 business campaign kickoff will be from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at The Lakehouse. Businesses large or small are invited to send a representative to visit with members of the United Way board and representatives of the 11 agencies served by Mid-Plains United Way during the 2011-2012 fiscal year. They will learn how their dollars help these agencies and how those dollars impact the community. Refreshments will be served and campaign packets will be distributed at the kickoff.
