Arapahoe won, 25-19, 25-21 and 26-24.

Tracy Blake had a good night for Maxwell with 15 digs, 10 kills, 2 stuff blocks and 3 ace serves. Her teammates Anna Crane had 13 digs and 2 ace serves; Kayla Stenger had 4 digs, 1 kill, 15 assists and 1 ace serve, Naomi Schaub had 11 digs and 3 ace serves and Josie Cox had 5 stuff blocks and 4 kills.

Maxwell coach Lori Mau said her team got better as the night went along.

"We are starting out games well and ending games well, we are just struggling with the middle of sets," she said. "I am proud of the fight in the girls, they never gave up and kept working all night to get better, which is what we are focused on doing every game, every play, every day."
