A 75-year-old Kansas man died Sunday morning at the Nebraska State Fair when his antique tractor flipped over, pinning him. Charley DeWeese of Thayer, Kan. died at the scene, State Patrol spokeswoman Deb Collins said. DeWeese's John Deere was one of nearly 1,100 tractors in Saturday’s world-record antique tractor parade at the fair. Deweese was driving his 1936 John Deere onto a semi-trailer when the right rear tire slipped off the ramp. He was thrown from the seat and the tractor fell on him, Collins said.
