NDOR pickup

A Nebraska Department of Roads pickup crossed the center line on Rodeo Road Tuesday afternoon a hit the side of an oncoming pickup. The NDOR pickup was traveling east in the 3800 block of Rodeo Road shortly before 4 p.m. when it strayed across the line, witnesses said. Raymond Dike, 20, of North Platte was driving, according to a sheriff’s office report. Dike’s pickup hit the side of a westbound 2004 Chevy pickup in the cargo area. It was driven by Mickey Wheeler, 62, of Sutherland, the report said. Wheeler's pickup spun around and ended up facing east on the shoulder of the highway. He complained for hip and shoulder pain and was taken to Great Plains Regional Medical Center with minor injuries, the report said. The NDOR pickup also came to a stop on the shoulder of the road.
