Belsky, 20, already faces one count of contributing to the deliquency of a minor.

He allegedly drove a van around town for nearly three hours while a juvenile or juveniles shot the windows of parked cars and a handful of businesses. Some of the windows also appeared to be bashed with a blunt object.

Belsky was charged Tuesday with 199 counts of misdemeanor criminal mischief, one count of felony criminal mischief and one count of aiding and abetting criminal mischief, Police Information Officer Rodney Brown said.

Three juveniles were with Belsky when he his van was stopped at 3:30 a.m., but only one, an unamed 17-year-old, was cited for 199 counts of misdemeanor criminal mischief and two counts of felony criminal mischief, Brown said.

Both other juvenile suspects were teenagers, a boy and a girl, police said.

At this time there is no probable cause to believe that either of them participated in the criminal mischief. No charges will be filed against them, other than a curfew charge the girl originally received on Aug. 6, Brown said.

So far, the reported damage has amounted to more than $62,000, according to police reports.

Belsky was officially charged with the 201 counts on Tuesday morning. He was booked into jail and released 12 minutes later. No bond was set, according to jail records.

Police are still taking estimates for damages. Victims should collect an estimate from a glass repair business and submit it to the police department in the city's Public Safety Building at 715 S. Jeffers.
