Lady Antebellum’s record breaking third disc “Own the Night” debuted at the No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart in October 2011 -- the biggest first week debut by any country artist last year.

The group will bring their concert tour to the Nebraskaland Days stage on June 21, officially known as the US Cellular Summer Jam Concert Series.

“We’re thrilled to be able to bring Lady Antebellum to North Platte,” Concert Chairman Hans Julius said. “Our fans have come to expect top level entertainment, and they’re going to get it again next year.”

Lady Antebellum will continue the tradition of top-name country performances during Nebraskaland Days. Last year Toby Keith performed. The year before, Brad Paisley was the headliner.

Lady A's Own the Night album has produced two No. 1 singles—“Just A Kiss” and “We Owned The Night.”

The band has now tallied six No. 1 hits since their debut in 2007. The current single, “Wanted You More”, is climbing the charts. The trio’s previous two albums, “Lady Antebellum” and “Need You Now”, have sold 6 million copies across the globe, spawned four No. 1 hits, scored six Grammys and more than a dozen other award show honors.

The group received five nominations during the 2012 Academy Of Country Music Awards and was named the country music group of the year for the third straight year. Additionally, the group received a 2012 Grammy for country album of the year.

Past wins include vocal group of the year at the 45th Annual CMA Awards, favorite country band, duo or group for the 2011 American Music Awards, and being one of CMT’s five artists of the year for 2011.
