• Feather River Vineyard (5700 E. State Farm) – Visitors are invited to watch the process of winemaking at harvest. 2-8 p.m.

• Lakehouse (Lake Maloney inlet) - Business After Hours. Refreshments, socializing. 5-7 p.m. Bring a buck and a business card.

• Harvest Christian Fellowship church (1501 S. Dewey) - Family movie night. Rio. 7 p.m. $2 per person, includes pop and bag of popcorn. Proceeds benefit mission trip to Poland next year.

• Cedar Bowl (1100 S. Jeffers) – Cosmic bowling under black lights. 8-11 p.m. $4 per game.

• Sculley’s Shooters (2221 E. Fourth) – Live music by Whiskey Bent. 9 p.m. Cover charge.


Saturday, Aug. 18

• Maxwell – Maxwell Heritage Day with parade, feed, team races, and draft horse pull. Events throughout town all day.

• Senior center (900 E. Tenth) – Bingo, 7-10 p.m.

• Lincoln Hiway RV Campground - Rocker Randall Zwarte in concert. Show starts at 9 p.m. $10 or any unused concert ticket from the summer.

• VFW Post 1504 (2100 E. Fourth) – bingo, total of 24 games, starts at 6:45 p.m.

• North Platte Senior Center (900 E. Tenth) – the Golden Classics, a four-piece combo, plays a dance. 7-10 p.m. $3.


Friday, Aug. 24

• Lakehouse (Lake Maloney inlet) - Live music by Rascal on the stage by the lake, 7-10 p.m.

• Hershey Football Field – outdoor Christian concert featuring Chye. Bring lawn chairs. 7:30 p.m. Free will offering.
