Thirty-three Mid-Plains Community College students graduated from the college’s Licensed Practical Nursing program Thursday.
Each graduate received their LPN pin at the ceremony, which was held at North Platte High School. The graduates also received a copy of the Nurse’s Creed and a flower to celebrate the occasion.
The graduates will take their licensing exam in approximately two to three weeks, according to Diane Hoffmann, NPCC Director of Nursing and Health Occupations. Upon successful completion of the exam, they will be eligible to practice as a licensed practical nurse.
