Police arrested North Platte resident Dustin Dowhower Monday and charged him with possession of methamphetamine and illegal prescription drugs. The arrest started after a police answered a report of an uncontrollable juvenile in the 1300 block of West Ninth. The youth talked about drug activity, giving police probable cause to search another home in the 1000 block of S. Tabor. They found Dowhower, 21, with methamphetamine and unspecified items used in selling meth. He also had prescription pills but no prescription, according to a police spokesman. Dowhower was jailed and his bond set at $100,000.
