Police say Snyder, 34, forcibly broke into the home of a 38-year-old man and confronted two men there with a knife.

During a struggle, one man was a cut on his hand and required medical attention, the police report said.

Police found probable cause to arrest Snyder for second degree assault, a class 3 felony that carries a maximum of 20 years.

Police also charged Synder with burglary.
