• Lakehouse at Lake Maloney Inlet – Live music by Rascal. Starts at 5 p.m.

• Depot Restaurant downtown - Live music by Blue Swing, playing gypsy jazz and swing. 6-8 p.m.

• Cedar Bowl (1100 S. Jeffers) – Cosmic bowling under black lights. 8-11 p.m. $4 per game.

• Centennial Park – City municipal concert. 8-9 p.m. No charge.

• Garden Glove Garden Center (1800 E. Twelfth) – Offering coffee, rolls , local live music talent, and fresh produce, baked goods, and hand-crafted item vendors. 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

• Lincoln Highway RV Park (4684 Rodeo Rd.) - Comedy by Costaki Economopolus, often heard on the Bob and Tom Show. Gates open at 7 p.m. $12 Advance (Great Western Bank, Husker Radio). $15 at gate. Dance afterwards to Dirty Finger.

• Eagles Club (620 N. Chestnut) – Music by the Gary Phipps show. 7 p.m. Free dance.

• Sculley’s Shooters (2221 E. Fourth) – Live music by Innocent Mischief. 9-10 p.m. Cover charge.

• Cedar Bowl (1100 S. Jeffers) – Cosmic bowling under black lights. 8-11 p.m. $4 per game.

• Historical Museum (2403 N. Buffalo Bill) – 4th annual Anvil Blowing, using explosives to launch anvils the furthest. 6:30 p.m. Free will donation.

• Maranatha Camp – Independence Day celebration. Waterfront open 2-7 p.m., sweetshop and BBQ line 6-7:30 p.m., evening entertainment 8 p.m., and fireworks 10 p.m.

• North Platte Fairgrounds – Annual firework show at dusk.

• Cedar Bowl (1100 S. Jeffers) – Cosmic bowling under black lights. 8-11 p.m. $4 per game.

• Cody Park – Poker Run, raising awareness for children’s mental health. Prizes awarded. Registration 10:30 a.m. Starts at 11:30 a.m. $20 for single, $25 for couples.

• Memorial Park – Gospel Fest with live music by The Shireys, Jay Stone Singers, and various local artists. Includes food, inflatables, prizes and games. 4-8 p.m. Free will donation.

• Lincoln County Fairgrounds – raceway action with IMCA modifieds, hobby stocks, sports mods, etc. 7-10 p.m. Adults $10, Kids 6-12 $5, 5 and under free.

• Stapleton main street - Dance to the music of Brenda Cohn and The Midnight Flyers. 8 p.m. $5/person.

• Public Library (120 W. Fourth) – Presentation by Rick Windham on night-time fishing tips and techniques. Attendees can bring their own lunch. Tea and water provided. Noon-1 p.m. Free program.

• A to Z Books (507 N. Jeffers) – West central Nebraska’s Open Mic Nite. Beatles and British Invasion theme night. Established performers and newcomers. 7-10:30 p.m. Free-will donation. Refreshments provided or bring your own.

• Centennial Park – City municipal band concert. 8-9 p.m. No charge.

• Lincoln Highway RV Park (4684 Rodeo Rd.) - Country music mini-festival starring Glen Templeton, playing new and classic country music. And, the Gary Phipps Show of North Platte (Neb. Country Music Hall of Fame). Gates open at 6 p.m. $15 until July 7, $20 after. Camping, water sports also available.

• Near Cody Park Pool - Outdoor movie Secondhand Lions, a drama and comedy about a young boy who is sent to live with his eccentric uncles. Starts at 8 p.m. No charge. Bring lawn chairs, blankets and snacks.
