Thanks to the combined efforts of Paws-itive Partners, P.A.L.s and veterinary clinics in North Platte, cats can be sterilized for only $25 throughout this week. Left unsterilized, cats reproduce at a prolific rate. There aren't enough homes for cats and kittens and a majority are abandoned or taken to shelters where most, because of sheer volume, are unadopted.

Cat owners are encouraged to contact their veterinarian and schedule their pet's spay or neutering.
