You can learn the life-saving skill of “Hands-Only CPR” from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday at the Platte River Mall in North Platte.

“Hands-Only CPR” (CPR without mouth-to-mouth breaths) is recommended for people who see a teen or adult suddenly collapse in an out-of-hospital setting such as the home, at work or in a park.

It consists of two easy steps: call 9-1-1 (or send someone to do that) and push hard and fast in the center of the chest.

The free “2 Hands 2 Save 1 Life” trainging is co-sponsored by Mid-Plains Community College, Great Plains Health Care Foundation, and the West Central District Health Department.

For more information, contact Karen Bowlin at (308) 535-3636 or email bowlink@mpcc.edu.
