Only 200 tickets for grandstand seats remain for the Toby Keith concert, Nebraskaland Days organizer David Fudge said Sunday. Keith, the biggest name in country music, will perform Friday at the Wild West Arena. After the grandstand seats are sold, the only spots left will be standing room only on the arena floor, Fudge said. The next night, rock stars Daughtry will perform. The Golden Circle seats near the stage are now gone, but there are plenty of general admission tickets left, Fudge said.
Keith Keith’s string of hits includes “Made in America” off the recent album “Clancy’s Tavern,” an album that debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country album charts. His latest single, “Red Solo Cup”, went viral on YouTube and debuted at No. 1 on the Country Music Television video charts. Other Keith hits include American Soldier, Beer for My Horses, Should’ve Been a Cowboy, As Good as I Once Was, I Wanna Talk About Me, How do You Like Me Now?! and I Love this Bar. Special guest Brantley Gilbert will also appear. Gilbert is an up and coming outlaw country star with a top-5 hit to his credit in “Country Must Be Country Wide.” Gilbert is also an accomplished writer, penning hits for Jason Aldean and Colt Ford.
Daughtry Bandleader Chris Daughtry was an American Idol finalist in 2006, and his band burst on the music scene that year with a self-titled debut album that had five top-5 singles. The recording remains the fastest selling debut rock album in Soundscan history. The band's follow up, "Leave This Town," produced three top-5 singles. Their newest release in November has already produced the top-10 single "Crawling Back to You." One Daughtry song, "September,” has been seen heard more than 20 million times on you tube, a phenomenal total. Two other Daughtry songs, "Over You" and “It’s Not Over,” have each been viewed nearly 15 million times.
