Andres Gonzalez, the Alliance man who held law enforcement at bay for more than 14 hours Tuesday, is also believed to be responsible for the murder of 38-year old Joshua Bullock of Denver. During the stand-off Gonzalez told negotiators that he killed Bullock, investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol say. Investigators believe the slaying occured around Dec. 1 and Gonzalez disposed of the body in a remote area of Dawes County. Investigators plan to search that area soon, Nebraska State Patrol spokeswoman Deb Collins said. Also, troopers arrested Gonzalez’s girlfriend on Wednesday. Rose Siefke, 19, of Hemingford was put into the Box Butte County Jail on a charge of being an accessory to a felony. The 38-year old Bullock had ties to the Alliance and Chadron areas and was last seen the afternoon of Dec. 1 after visiting family members in Alliance. Bullock’s burnt out pickup was found Dec. 14 by a rancher in a ravine southeast of Chadron. His information was entered into the Nebraska Missing Persons Clearinghouse and the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System, a “Help Find Josh Bullock” Facebook page was also established by friend and family. “Josh Bullock’s disappearance was an active case, but we had little information to go on” NSP Investigative Services Lt. Monica Bartling said Thursday. “Our investigation will now focus on finding Josh’s remains and bringing some closure to his family and friends.” Gonzalez was killed by a SWAT team Tuesday after the 14 hour standoff in downtown Alliance. Earlier that day, he allegedly killed his father Larry Gonzalez, 62, at the Meadows trailer court. Gonzalez shot and wounded three law officers plus a hostage during the standoff.
