Baylee Collins is one of 24 St. Mary’s players named to the 2011-12 scholar-athlete list released by the Midland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

To earn MCAC Scholar-Athlete honors, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore, own a 3.25 cumulative grade point average or higher, and have completed at least two semesters at their present institution.

Collins, a 2010 graduate of North Platte High School, will enter her junior season this fall with the College of St. Mary's volleyball team.

In December, the 5-foot-5 starting libero was named the CSM Champions of Character Athlete of the Month.
