Kerrey gives student leaders words of advice Tell North Platte what you think
 

LINCOLN — Bob Kerrey advised hundreds of Nebraska senior students Tuesday night to let people help them when they suffer a loss, but also “get up on your own.”

Kerrey spoke to the Cornhusker Boys/Girls State students after his Republican opponent in the race for the U.S. Senate, Deb Fischer, turned down an invitation to debate. She was in Washington, D.C., attending fundraisers on Tuesday.

After a short speech, Kerrey answered students’ questions.
