Lincoln County CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocates) wants to give a big thank you to Dr. Loretta Baca and Jim Camplin with Paper Dragon Shredding for sponsoring a shredding day May 5 to benefit Lincoln County CASA. Thank you to Kathy Bourque, owner of the UPS Store in North Platte, for hosting the shredding day, and to employees, Pam Cain and Allison Sheffield, who helped unload boxes of papers and make root-beer floats. Thanks also to Lincoln County CASA director Stephanie Miller and her family, husband Mark and sons, Sam and Jess, who helped unload the heavier boxes. Finally, thank you to all the people who drove up to have papers shredded and then donated so generously to Lincoln County CASA. The event brought in nearly $1,100.
