MAIL: Changes to Lake Maloney's Frontier Resort Tell North Platte what you think

There seems to be a lot of confusion about what is going on at Frontier Resort. I want to take this opportunity to clear up some on the misinformation.

Our lease came up for renewal after nine years on March 30.

The board of directors, or management board, for the East Maloney Home Owners Association, (EMHA) elected not to renew our lease in favor of another party, originally from Wyoming, for more money and a promise of giving all profits to the EMHO after two years. Good luck on that one.

One thing we want to make sure is that everyone is away that Tom and I still have our Dock and ShoreStation business under the same name, Frontier Sports.

We are here to serve all your needs at the best prices on the lake. Our phone number has not changed, 532-8776.

We also want to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to all our customers all around the lake and the surrounding area for the last nine years.

It’s been fun and we appreciate your business both in the cafe and the campground. We are sorry there will be no more “Judy Burgers” of the famous “Frontier Cookies.”

At this time we don’t know if the cafe or the boat slips will be open for the season or if the shorestation storage in the back lot will be available for this coming season.

Once again a big thank you to all our customers, past and present and future.
