The Twin Platte Natural Resources District Board of Directors will hold a public meeting at 4:30 p.m. MST (5:30 p.m. CST) Wednesday, Dec. 16 at Figure Four Traditions at the Haythorn Ranch. The ranch is four miles north of the intersection of Highways 61 and 92 in Keith County. The address is 193 Haythorn Drive. An agenda for the meeting is available for inspection during regular office hours at the Twin Platte NRD offices on the second floor of TierOne Bank Center in North Platte, 111 S. Dewey. This meeting is a reschedule of the Dec. 8 meeting that was to be held at the Lake McConaughy Visitor’s Center but was postponed due to snow and extreme cold. Every December, the TWNRD meets in the Ogallala area. The board of directors meeting is followed with a banquet at the Haythorn Ranch, where the Natural Resources Grassland Conservation award for Keith and Arthur counties is presented. The year that award goes to the Lute Family Ranch.
