Is there any update about this at all? I''d like to hear about some evidence, new interviews that have been conducted, something! Obviously these girls or their parents are that upset about it. I see them everyday in school. I''d like to see someone talk to the GIRLS about this. I''d like to see someone ask them what they were thinking. It''s not all Hogan''s fault. I don''t see any justice in this at all. |

All im saying is i warned you sade.. told you not to mess w/ it. All this is over a little fight about him and one of her friends, so in otherwards she WANTED to do it all up until he made her mad. Thats when she decided to speak up. This is a frustrating deal and i hope all goes well for hogan. |

In reading some of these posts,I can see why these kids made the kinds of decisions they did.While it is the parent''s responsibility to teach our children,it is ultimately the child''s decision to put it into action and make the right choices.While dressing like a harlot is totally wrong,do the parents dress in a modest manner?Or is it a case of "do as I say and not as I do"?While some will disagree,because it is the girl that can get pregnant,it is the man''s responsibility to prevent this by abstaining until both can conceive rationally and legally.Both are responsible for this situation,and both should be punished.But the man should now be considered a predator.Period. |

This is so sad. I am sorry that Hogan didn''t remember the UCMJ classes that he had. This is also very sad for his parents. If Hogan did these things, he deserves to be punished. There are no winners in this situation. |

RAGEING HORMONES has NOTHING to do with WHAT AGE a teen girl is--Nowdays--teen age sex is all bout "DOING IT BECAUSE FRIENDS ARE DOING IT" and PEER PRESSURE. I''ve seen some 13--16 yr old girls dressed like they are MISS SEX POT OF AMERICA running around in the mall and flaunting theri stuff. If a 14 or 15 year old girl killed someone she would be tried as an adult. If she is old enough to make an adult decision about murder, she is surely old enough to make an adult decision about sex. |

I have a teenager in my home and I have taught morals and values but when I''m not there who knows. I can only hope he listens. I know that alot of fourteen year old girls run wild on friday and saturday I work late nite and see it first hand I wonder where the parents are maybe running wild themselves we need to take control over our youth because it seems they are the ones in control these days...

I am amazed with some of these comments..this 20 yr old maybe a goo kid thise girls may also be good people but there is a huge difference between a 14 or 15yr old and a 20yr old, huge difference between a freshman in high school and someone who has graduated;also some girls do try to look and act older but for the person who is older say the 20year old they should know better. Did he know these girls from school, maybe a family member to know that they were not older or close in age? or did he remember any of them from high school?? There are questions to be asked here. |

I am amazed at the tolerance these days. It is this simple. If you are ready to raise a child then you are ready to make one. If you cannot support or emotionally handle being a 24-7 parent then you better not do the first step. How many 14 year olds qualify? |

Where are the parents of these 14 year old girls? I''m not saying what the man did was right however, I''m not letting my daughter date until she''s 16 for one. Secondly, she''s been taught good morals and respects herself enough to know that she won''t be putting herself into danger. This all starts at home and what type of upbringing these kids have. I didn''t just come from under a rock, but parents have to take responsibility for their children. Teach them the right thing to do, teach them what the consequences are for doing the wrong thing and help guide them in the right direction. STOP HIDING! |

Okay, I know Hogan and Hogan is a good kid. He''s hardworking and he has a lot going from him. I know all the people that are involved with this supposed ''crime'' and I know what''s going on. I don''t think he deserves any jail time. It''s not completely his fault. These girls knew what they we''re doing, plus one of them made up a story about her and Hogan and it blew up in her face. She''s just scared of getting in trouble and unfortunately Hogan is responsible for all the girls lies. They are fourteen years old, they are just getting into highschool. They were excited to have an older persons attention and went to far with it. Hogan is a good kid, and I hope to God he''s okay and he can get out of this mess. |

kalkan - couldn''t agree with you more...same thing happened to me, but the other way around...I was 15 and my HS girlfriend was 18...I still talk to her and we are the best of friends and if situations were different, we would be together today. But nothing EVER crossed our mind in the 80''s that anything was AT ALL illegal in our relationship. We were in love and we let the world know...(to the extent they would listen)...and there was no issue as far as we knew about me being 15 and her being 18. No one ever said anything either...but I looked 18 too - 6''3" 200lb - jock guy you know...just my 2 cents. |

Mentally these girls are not ready for a relationship with a man and they sure as hell aren''t ready to be parents themselves! What in God''s name would happen if one of the girls got knocked up? girls these days grow up alot faster. they are exposed to so much on tv, magazines, etc. they want to be grown up but when they take it too far, the yell rape or say they were coerced into doing it. what were they doing with him in the first place? some 14 year olds do not look or act like they are 14. they are old enough to know the difference between right and wrong and they chose the latter. also, this young man should have known this could get him into trouble. what was he thinking??? can''t blame the parents for this one. these girls made their own mistakes whether their parents were good, loving parents or rotten ones. i have two sixteen year old grand daughters and i know they will make bad decisions but i know they will be theirs and not their parents. they will have to pay the consequences. this guy needs to find a girl his own age. |

Ok, I dont know this kid for once. But The 1st Guy I dated I was a freshman he was a senior lets see that would make him 18 does that mean he needed 2 go 2 jail when I was with him? NO I dont think so you wanna know why because my parents respected him and he was good 2 me. The 2nd guy I was with I was 16 and he was 19, is that 2 old in your eyes people? I dont think so either but that is just me. The police knew him and knew he was with me and guess what that didnt do S*** wonder why that is? But like everyone else on here is saying why dont we get to look at the real story and see what really happend? Yes 14 yr old little girls these days know what they are doing and who they are doing it with you cant tell me they dont know there age. |

The allure is that some, not all, but a big majority of 14 year olds today try to make themselves look 17 or 18. I actually have a family member that does this and it drives me crazy but there is nothing I can do as she lives in another state and her mom thinks it is just fine. When this happens they are sure to attract someone older and it is all fine and dandy with them until they are caught! These girls need to be taken from the home and put into the girls and boys home also. It is not right that the guy is the only one to answer for this in court and the girls just move on to the next. You people play them as a victim but that is not the case most of the time. Just because there is an age difference it does not make it assualt. Each case needs to be looked at on an individual basis. In other states this would not even be a crime. The state needs to take a look at todays society and make some changes. These girls know exactly what they are doing! |

I think its kind of stupid , and hurtful to these kids, to be nit picking legal ages here.
Seems society in all its rightousness now knows what age is exactly legal, who amoung us as a young person has not been guilty of commiting the crime this poor kid is facing?
I was 19 and had sex with a 15 year old girl numerouse times, i am now 51 and that girl is my wife of 30 plus years.
so come on people , before you accuse a young boy of a crime, just look and see how old your grandmother was when she got married to your grand dad
