I must say, AGAIN...I agree 110% with EAGLE EYE!! The first post as a matter of fact! The eagle not only symbolizes our country, it is beautiful and majestic!! I watched a video where the eagle dive bombed a mountain goat and frightened it just enough to cause it to lose its footing and fall to its death! Now that is undoubtedly a truly intelligent and skilled bird of prey....Unlike the scumbags that apparently have a brain no larger than a peanut to do something as sickening as getting their rocks off by killing innocent animals!! Selling their feathers???! Ever hear of going out and getting a JOB and earning your wages honestly like REAL MEN do?! Throw away the key!! How about better yet, rather than we sane civilians having to pay for them to be fed and clothed in prison...Have them sent to have experiments performed on them rather then experimenting poisons, new medicines, cleaning agents,laundry detergents etc in labatories where they put chimps, dogs, rats and other misc innocent God made creatures thru agonizing torture?!!! See how they would like to have who knows what kind of eye drop soutions that could cause them blindness poured into their eyes to make sure they are safe to put on the public market etc etc etc!!! |

Walt- The leagal system is straight up out of wack! It needs to be compleatly reformed and then kept to the word, All this plea B.S. needs to go, The Harm and or death of humans should always be the biggest reason for a life sentence. Then work its way down from there. Only problem with this, is in instences like the BoyScout in the news that has been suspended from school due to a small knife in a survival pack in the trunk of his car. There needs to be some common sence. But No One Knows Where To Find It Anymore!!! |

I think eagles are beautiful animals. It is truly amazing how big they are. However, I think the punishment is ridiculous. People with DUIs, drug, or rape convictions get lighter sentences than this. It doesn''t make much sense. I would think a very stiff fine and a lot of community service would be a reasonable punishment. Think about it. He has already been in Federal custody 7 months. Something seems out of whack. |

I photograph these awesome raptors, have got so close to them they become use to me. Literally have had them land within 3 feet of me, its almost scary, yet so beautiful. anyone this callous should get atleast 5 years, so ok maby eaten alive would be a bit radical. Anyway they like fish. |

eagle eye ... i think perhaps you are just a tad bit over the top in your proposed punishment ... not by much ... just a little bit. seriously, a year in federal prison for this type of crime is not nearly severe enough. make it a five year mandatory sentence. |
