Students from 22 Nebraska junior high and high schools entered more than 800 pieces of art work, tech-crafts and woodcrafts April 25-26 at North Platte Community College’s annual Art-Tech Exhibit at the Platte River Mall.

More schools participated and more projects were entered this year than in any previous year, according to Lindy Hiatt, recruiter and coordinator of the show.

Zach Kramer of Stapleton had the best entry in the show in three-dimensional art. Hayley Brown of North Platte received the best of show award in two-dimensional art.

Kadin Heessel of Maxwell built a pool table to win best of show in the technical division.
