ADT to layoff 380 in PapillionTell North Platte what you think

ADT Security Services announced Thursday it will lay off 380 people at the Papillion call center.

The company said the layoffs will occur because the company was consolidating its call center operations. Officials said customer support operations in Papillion would be moved to the company’s other service centers in Aurora, Colo.; Kansas City, Mo.; Jacksonville, Fla.; and Rochester, N.Y.

The layoffs will be completed by March, officials said. Employees who lose their jobs and can't find other positions with ADT may receive severance benefits.

ADT says its home and business security customers shouldn't notice the change. The company already redirects alarm signals when a blizzard or hurricane affects one of its call centers.
